Grass and Runtime Virtual Texturing

To begin my first week of development, I created a low poly grass mesh using a single 2D plane in my preferred 3D software, 3Ds Ma

balcony and smaller windows (added the some overhanging vines to the balcony to give this asset more character). 

door and worked with some lighting to brighten my scene

roof 

changed the roof sides and worked on the patio 

week 6
added more beams to the building to create a better all round look and altered the patio ( I tried various textures on the patio but not happy with the overall look, I then decided to change the concrete patio into decking which was a huge decision but a decision that would work for the best as the patio would now better fit with the entire scene).

added vines to the roof to help break up the bland brown colour that came with the thatched roof

chair, logs, log and tool holders, postbox, and birdbox ( you can see

tools, hanging baskets, dog kennel, wind vane and wheelbarrow




lastly I changed the sky to better suit the colour I was after and help portray my scene being set on a warm summers day.
